American Romanian Collage: A Photography Exhibit by Daniel Man and Gabriel Ghizilă

American Romanian Collage brings together two cultural spaces that for many seem quite different. By alternating photos from Romania and the US, Gabriel Ghizila and Daniel Man suggest that there are ways in which we can use our understanding and knowledge of one culture to adapt, make sense, and finally build a bridge to the other.

We are happy to announce that our cultural organization ARCS (American Romanian Cultural Society) will have its first event this year on Friday, January 24, together with Bucharest Drinking Team. There will be live Romanian music and dance, as well as a digital photography exhibit by two Romanian American artists, Gabriel Ghizila and Daniel Man, entitled “American Romanian Collage: Places/Things/People”.
