ARCS and the Exquisite Gorge Project II: Fiber Arts
We are happy to share the final print version of the Exquisite Gorge Project II: Fiber Arts. This impressive collaborative effort brought together different fiber artists to create sculptural works with the Columbia River as a focal element.
Developed by Curator of Education at Maryhill Museum of Art, Louise Palermo, The Exquisite Gorge Project II: Fiber Arts featured 13 regional fiber artists working with communities along 220 miles of the Columbia River from the Willamette Confluence to the Snake River Confluence. The Artistic Director for the project wa artist Tammy Jo Wilson.
ARCS was a community partner for Section 7, which featured Seattle artist Magda Nica, as well as a sponsor.
